Cost Accountant

We are currently seeking a dynamic Cost Accountant to join our product development and manufacturing costing initiatives. This position is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing and production costing initiatives including analysis, identifying and explaining variances, as well as new product development.

To be successful in this position you must have the ability to understand the product vision, strategy and roadmap to meeting customer needs to ensure the best pricing strategy to maximize the company's ROI.

Key responsibilities:

· Completing gross margin analysis of current and new product to determine overall value and ROI. You will prepare, analyze and distribute weekly, monthly and quarterly gross margin information, work with IT department for system issues, and use software and spreadsheet to help with cost decision on production.

· Work effectively with teams to achieve desired results.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with all necessary departments

· Strong analytical skills

· Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory and cost accounting

· Knowledge of jewelry components preferred but not required

· Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or similar degree with a strong math or business curriculum.

· 3-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
