Overview:
The emergency shelter team provides emergency survival-support services to homeless and runaway youth 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, year-round. The Emergency Shelter Case Manager strives to engage and establish mutually respectful, trusting relationships with the youth we serve. Clients are approached from a strength and asset-based perspective. Case Managers form partnerships with youth to identify issues, concerns, and needs, and develop strategies to meet them. This position partners with the Youth and Family Counselor to provide case management, including assessments, referrals, transportation, and counseling.
The Emergency Shelter Case Manager supports the day-to-day activities and milieu management of the Shelter, using a strength-based, positive youth development approach.
Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Sunday-Thursday, 10 am-6 pm, with flexibility to accommodate client and family needs

Responsibilities:
- Assessments and service plans
- Case management &Â Crisis intervention
- Referrals and follow-up
- Aftercare
- Youth advocacy, transportation & support daily shelter activities
- Maintenance of facility and grounds
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Services OR Equivalent combination of experience and education
- Knowledge of youth asset development and risk reduction theory, and youth serving systems, community resources, partnerships and collaborations
- A valid Driver's license

Pay Rate: $22.50- $24.50 per hour
