Responsibilities


The Division of Endocrinology in Rochester is seeking a candidate for a full-time faculty position committed to clinical and academic excellence in metabolic bone disease and calcium metabolism. Training in the interpretation of bone histomorphometric specimens will also be a unique opportunity in this position. The selected candidate should have the potential to be involved in clinical research. The selected person will be expected to work with medical students, residents, and fellows.

A more detailed look at the inner workings of the Mayo Clinic group of metabolic bone specialists will reveal:

  • A collaborative approach and open discussions with the colleagues from the diagnostic and surgical specialties with complex pathology related to metabolic bone disorders.
  • Potential to participate in multidisciplinary clinics requiring expertise in metabolic bone disorders, such as the Transplant and Spine Clinics.
  • Robust clinical resources and the possibility of protected time that provides support to those interested in research or educational endeavors.
