PURPOSE: To facilitate all HR functions and programs at the plant location and managed services accounts.
JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at the plant location and managed services accounts. Â This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including recruitment, record-keeping, payroll, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Â
- Manage recruiting, interviewing and employee onboarding process. Â Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds accordingly.
- Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
- Actively source qualified candidates using internet databases, social media, job boards, and employee referrals.
- Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communication.
- Conduct initial interviews to identify potential candidates for second interviews.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled, reviews job descriptions for vacancies.
- Identify employee-related issues and implement solutions or escalate if necessary.
- Collaborate with marketing for our internal newsletter
- Coordinates and supports company employee recognition programs
- Assist and support all HR activities as needed
- Tact, discretion, and sensitivity when dealing with confidential information
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.Â
- Orders new-employee background checks when warranted.
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
- Assists with processing of terminations.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the GM/RHRM.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Prepares new employee files.
- Processes mail.
- Processes payroll
- Oversee processing/keeping all credit card receipts and enter into Concur weekly and monthly
- Performs other related duties as assigned.Â

- Experience in ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
