Java Developer (Remote)
Responsibilities:
This software engineering position entails designing, developing and providing support for entire software development life cycle for child supports systemsÂ
Work collaboratively with other members of the project team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality delivery enterprise applicationsÂ
Plan and estimate development work needed to implement assigned tasksÂ
Transform requirements into working, maintainable enterprise-level solutionsÂ
Perform detailed application design as appropriateÂ
Provide leadership to other team members to deliver high quality systems on scheduleÂ
Ability to coordinate and work on production issuesÂ
Ability to work with Production Support teams to ensure questions and answers are clear and concise. Â
Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills, stong knowledge in SDLC process, Configuration Management tools, Environment Setup and Migration activitiesÂ
Required Experience: Â
6+ years’ experience with Java technologiesÂ
6+ years’ experience with database driven, multi-tier software developmentÂ
6 years’ experience using at least two major databases (Oracle and MS SQL Server are preferred)Â
Must have experience in Java 11, JPA, Apache, Tomcat, Eclipse, Maven, Ant Builds, BambooÂ
Must have experience in Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC Rest, Spring Cloud, Jasper ReportsÂ
Must have experience with Jira, Bit Bucket, Bamboo, Artifactory, Gradle, Flyway, DockersÂ
Experienced in HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, Java Script and AngularÂ
Worked on Microservices, implementing them using Spring Boot and deploying them on Kubernetes cluster as Docker imagesÂ
Involved in consuming and publishing SOAP and RESTFUL web servicesÂ
Experience in writing complex queries for Oracle database and SQL server databaseÂ
Experience in Linux commands and Shell scriptsÂ
Experience in designing end-to-end solutionsÂ
Object oriented analysis, design and programming skillsÂ
Experience with latest software development lifecycle methodologiesÂ
Good interpersonal skills in order to interface successfully with an onshore project manager, clients and office personnelÂ
Good to have:Â
Knowledge in Child support payments processing domainÂ

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $80,080 - $104,000
