Machine Operator
Location: Rochester Hills, MI Pay: $18.00
Hours: 8–10 hour shifts (some weeks up to 58 hours with OT)
Estimated Start Date: Next 1–2 weeks
Position Summary We are immediately hiring skilled and reliable Machine Operators for a growing automotive tube manufacturing facility in Cadillac, MI. You will operate CNC benders, N-formers, automation equipment, deburring machines, band saws, circular saws, wire wheels, and related production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC tube benders, formers, and automated machinery
- Perform deburring, saw cutting, leak testing, and part washing
- Read and use a tape measure (millimeter and metric)
- Follow safety procedures and pay close attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work independently or as part of a team on rush orders
Requirements
- Must be able to read a tape measure in millimeters and metric
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Previous machine or manufacturing experience preferred, but we are somewhat lenient for the right attitude
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must pass drug test and background check
- Steel-toe boots required (all other PPE — safety glasses, gloves, shield, composite hard-toe shoes — provided by the company)
