Morgan Properties is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at a 292-unit apartment community in Rochester, NY. In this role, you'll help create a safe, well-maintained environment for residents while working alongside a team that values accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Compensation & Incentives

Base Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Up to 50% Rent Discount
Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

As the Service Technician, You Will:

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and other maintenance-related issues
Perform preventative maintenance to help protect and preserve community assets
Ensure the interior and exterior of the property are maintained in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements
Respond to service requests in a timely manner while providing a positive resident experience
Keep residents and team members informed through clear, professional communication
Support the overall appearance, functionality, and upkeep of the community

We're seeking a maintenance professional who can work independently, think critically, and adapt to changing priorities. The ideal candidate is committed to doing the right thing, values the contributions of others, and approaches each day with the initiative and determination needed to get the job done.

Hours & Schedule:

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Paid rotating on-call participation required
Must be available and prepared to respond to emergency situations as needed

Schedule subject to change based on business needs.

What We'll Expect From You:

Active, valid driver's license and personal vehicle
HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
