Location/Division Specific Information:
1600 Lexington Avenue, Rochester NY.

The Forklift Driver / Shipper is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, and ship products. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper inventory handling, and timely shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders or invoices
  • Move materials to and from storage areas, staging areas, and loading docks
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
  • Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues
  • Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and handled to prevent damage
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized


Education: (NA or APAC)
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Education: (EMEA)
High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent. (***If a Degree or specific Apprenticeship or Technical Certification is required please modify the first sentence and add the specifics here***)

Experience:
Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers/forklifts)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Forklift operation (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack, etc.)
  • Time management and organization
  • Teamwork and communication
  • Problem-solving and reliability


Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
  • Standing, walking, lifting, and operating machinery for extended periods
  • May require overtime, weekends, or shift work

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $18.50–$20.50.
