Job Schedule: 9/80; Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off 

Job Description:

This person will contribute to the company’s success by participating in digital circuit design and product integration. This role will report directly to a Senior Engineering Manager and is responsible for successfully designing digital circuit boards for radios and associated equipment, as well as working with cross-functional teams to support product integration and manufacturing introduction.

Essential Functions:

  • Support digital and related analog hardware research, design, and development of circuit board assemblies
  • Develop requirements from high-level use cases and product description documents
  • Digital hardware printed circuit board design including requirement analysis, high level design, schematic capture and layout analysis
  • Make design decisions and assess technical risks
  • Perform simulation and analysis such as digital signal integrity
  • Perform integration with other subsystems
  • Perform subsystem and system level verification and validation testing
  • Identify, track and repair assigned hardware defects
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with automation tools such as Python, LabVIEW
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC design and test techniques for conducted and radiated emissions (MIL-STD-461)
  • Knowledge of environmental test methods and techniques (MIL-STD-810)
  • Basic understanding of Radio Frequency circuits and architectures
  • Experience with Boundary Scan methodologies and tools

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $92,500- $171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
