Morgan Properties is seeking a Service Technician to join the team at Elmwood Terrace, a 220-unit community in Rochester, NY. If you’re a hands-on problem solver who takes PRIDE in delivering quality service, supporting your team, and keeping a community running at its best, we want to hear from you!

Compensation & Schedule:

$21.00–$23.00 per hour
Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
$15 per hour for on-call shifts
$300 Morgan Essentials quarterly incentive

What You'll Be Doing:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuits.
• Complete resident work orders and service requests within established timeframes while delivering quality customer service.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect property equipment to identify malfunctions, unusual sounds, and other issues.
• Complete make-ready apartments, including repairs, trash removal, carpet cleaning, painting, and other turnover needs.
• Maintain and inspect smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.
• Assist with property inspections and know the location of gas, water, apartment shutoffs, and sewer cleanouts.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and help manage maintenance supplies.
• Respond to on-site emergencies, including snow and ice events, as needed.

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
