As a Supervisor in Reprocessing and Distribution Services (RDS), you’ll lead the teams responsible for ensuring safe and sterile surgical instrumentation and equipment. This role focuses on quality, safety, and compliance across instrument decontamination, packaging, sterilization, and distribution processes, ensuring regulatory standards and infection prevention practices are consistently met.Â
You will oversee operational functions across sterile processing, including:
- Decontamination, packaging, sterilization, and distribution workflows
- Staffing alignment to workload and operational demand
- Equipment maintenance, preventive processes, and quality compliance
- Partnering with education and quality leaders to ensure regulatory standards are met
- Hiring, performance management, and development of team members
- Process improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and regulatory readinessÂ
In addition, this role:
- Supports policy development, education, and quality assurance initiatives
- Leads through coaching, teaching, and development of team members
- Partners with leadership on process improvement and ensures regulatory readiness and compliance
