Registered Landscape Architect

Passero Associates' is seeking a highly skilled and Registered Landscape Architect to join our team in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape design, project management, and sustainable practices. This role involves collaborating with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to create innovative and functional outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design landscape plans for various projects, including residential, commercial, and public spaces.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project success.
• Oversee project implementation and provide guidance during construction.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and zoning laws.
• Promote sustainable and environmentally friendly design practices.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Licensed Landscape Architect.
• Proven experience in landscape design and project management.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of horticulture, soil science, and environmental sustainability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with public space design and urban planning.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and water management.
