Job Description Summary

The Program

Par Health offers an 11-week internship program designed to provide an immersive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Par Health Intern, you’ll have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study. This program allows you to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world corporate setting while building valuable connections through networking opportunities across the organization.

Summary of Position

As an automation intern, you will be responsible for learning, testing, and working with the various automation aspects of the Rochester Facility. Automation aspects of the site include HMI, PLC, SCADA, Robotics, and other computer equipment. This will involve working with the manufacturing and packaging process of the Rochester Facility.

Responsibilities

  • Work with colleagues on issues related to automation or computer systems.
  • Help develop automation or computer system improvements across the site.
  • Follow the applicable procedures in place to complete tasks associated with development and support.

Minimum Requirements

Enrolled in bachelor’s degree program related to (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)

  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Experience with MS Office, etc.
  • Motivated self-starter, operates independently, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, etc. 

Relationship with Others/Scope of Position

Interact with other team members and cross functionally as needed
