Job DetailsJob Location: Zumbro Valley Health Center - Rochester, MN 55904Position Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeSalary Range: $23.96 - $28.16 HourlyJob Shift: DayWe are seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist to join our Outpatient Substance Use Program. You will provide direct client services and support one-on-one and/or in a group setting. A Peer Recovery Specialist is a unique and important role when supporting clients through their recovery process.   Responsibilities Provide clients and potential clients with support and building a trusting relationship. Provide information about services and referrals Provide hope, encouragement and support through the phases of recovery. Provide a model for both people in recovery and staff by demonstrating that recovery is possible. Educate staff about the recovery process, and the damaging role that stigma can play in undermining recovery. Complete all required documentation and case notes accurately. QualificationsRequirements & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent One year in recovery from a substance use disorder Completed Peer Recovery Support Specialist certification Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance Why Zumbro Valley Health Center?
