$35.35 - $45.96The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:Accountable for provision of competent patient care based on established standards. Assumes an expanded role which includes but is not limited to the preceptor role, participation on committees, and performing advanced respiratory care procedures.
FT positions available, D/N, 12 hour shifts
The department covers critical care units in adult services and pediatrics. Advanced practices include Nitric Oxide, ECMO Neonatal, and Pediatric Transport teams. Therapists attend daily rounds as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. We offer a competitive salary structure and benefits program. Qualifications: New York State license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with current registrations or may be certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care and complete registry status within first year of employment. ACLS, PALS, NRC a plus.
Registration in Respiratory Therapy plus 2-3 years related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
