Description of Job:
Â
Able to read and interpret prints and perform independent machining operations to specifications
Â
Able to proficiently operate drill press, small mill, and small lathe
Â
Able to use micrometers and verniers
Â
Polish, hydro, attach name plates and gaskets on sight glasses
Â
Lap flush body seat area
Â
Lap, polish hydro (as required), package seal seats
Â
Able to proficiently operate all of the following machines: Â large drill presses, large mill, radial drill, engine lathe, turret lathe, hone and NC machine. Â In addition, must be able to operate one of the following additional machines: Â horizontal boring mill; vertical boring mill; tracer
Â
Performs setups
Â
Able to grind and re-sharpen own tools
Â
Responsible for Quality, Safety and Housekeeping in their job assignment and follows current SOP's.
Â
In the event no candidates meet the minimum requirements for the job, the Company may elect to fill the opening by training under the provisions of Par. 13 of the Agreement.

Testing includes: Â CNC capable, mill/lathe, Fanuc/Mazatrol programming, Reading Comprehension, Advanced Machining Math. Â Capable of reading machine drawings. Â Manual lathes & Mills. Â Able to perform inspections.

* Grade level will be assigned based on level of knowledge and experience. Job-(RC): 062-(RC 9), 061-(RC 12), 131-(RC 14), or 064-(RC 16)
