Job Position: Special Education Teacher

Location: Rochester, MN 55902

Pay Rate: Starting at $45/hour

Schedule: 7am- 3pm

Description: Birch Agency is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly motivated Special Education Teacher to join our 6th12th grade program. This full-time position is designed for an educator who has a strong background in differentiated instruction, behavior management, and individualized educational planning, along with a deep dedication to fostering student growth and success in a structured, supportive learning environment. This role requires ongoing collaboration with students, families, school staff, and community partners to meet individual needs, ensure safety, and promote a positive and inclusive educational experience. Will be responsible for teaching direct instruction classes as well as case management (about 10 students).

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.

Licensure: Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license (any area). Licensure in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) or Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) preferred.
