Position Summary: Â
Under minimal supervision, the Senior Accountant works to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all transactions in the general ledger in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This includes all activities related to the global accounting function: close procedures, preparation, review and analysis, maintaining a strong control environment and other activities necessary to support consolidated financial statements.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparation and review of monthly accounting close procedures to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls, as well as the accuracy of financial statements. Specific month-end close activities include:
Preparation and review of journal entries for operating companies, as well as consolidation and elimination entries
Record, analyze and review inter- and intra- company transactions
Review of trial balances and monthly trends; perform additional review as needed to support the close
Analysis and review of operating company financial statements, both foreign and domestic
Preparation and review of monthly U.S. GAAP financial statements including, balance sheet, income statement and cash flow
Preparation and review of high-quality balance sheet account reconciliations
Support a sustainable and efficient close and reporting process with a continuous improvement mindset.
Preparation of quarterly external reporting deliverables and support of internal and external audit requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting and/or relevant industry experience (combination preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent required
CPA certification or equivalent strongly preferred
Proficiency in Excel required, experience with SAP and OneStream a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements:
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Finance & AccountingThe salary range for this role is:
$73,100.00 - $109,600.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.  At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
