Job Title: Retail Cashier

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting and assisting all guests and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner
• Collecting customer information and checking out customers’ merchandise using a point-of-sale system
• Handling and bagging customers’ merchandise and coordinating assistance for loading customers’ products
• Staying informed on sales, rebates, and promotions of products
• Directing customers to Inside Sales Associates if they have questions or need help selecting products
• Answering customers’ questions over the phone, providing sales quotes for future purchases, and researching product and inventory
• Keeping a clean and organized sales floor, including product displays and work areas (fronting, pricing, and stocking sales shelves when not assisting customers)
• Participating in store events (physical inventories, sales meetings, trade shows, special sales, etc.)
• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting suspicious activity
• Completing related tasks as assigned
   
   

You’ll Need:

• Previous retail or customer service experience
• Basic computer skills and to be able to learn new software
• Good communication skills (in-person, over the phone, and through email)
• To be able to work a rotating Saturday shift

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift up to 30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand on a hard surface for the majority of your shift
• Bend, sit, squat, lift overhead, push, pull, kneel, and reach
