Machine Operator (B Shift)

Description

Position Summary: Supports Machine Lead / Shift Leader with activities engaged in operating Coating Machines and support equipment of industrial plant by performing the following duties personally.

Schedule: B Shift
Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday
Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To be successful in this role, an individual must satisfactorily fulfill the following responsibilities; additional duties may be assigned as necessary. • Provide minor repairs, adjustments, check scales for calibration correctness, and assist during maintenance calls, as necessary.
• Conduct changeovers of raw material master rolls and mother rolls.
• Operate PITs as needed (Walk Behind Lifts, Jacks, Hoists, etc.)
• Ensure adhesive supply is constant to drum heaters.
• Confirmation and Completion of Production Orders in SAP as well as TO material
• Be able to create and complete traceability information correctly including the sample note for Quality.
• Follow all policies and procedures related to TS16949.
• Support ISO14001 System, Policies and Procedures as assigned.
• Maintain safe work practices at all times.
• Ability to respond quickly to issues that arise during Production.
• Maintain Housekeeping and Organization in Coating area.
• Demonstrate safe use of sharps.
• Support 6S activities in Team.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma/GED and 1–3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills required.

Certificates and Licenses:

No certifications are needed.
