Responsibilities
- Prepare, assemble, and deliver patient trays, snacks, and nourishments per diet specifications Â
- Serve patients, guests, and cafeteria customers with excellent customer service Â
- Follow portion control, cash handling, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA, TJC) Â
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, equipment, and carts Â
- Stock patient units, retail areas, and storage rooms, and monitor food and equipment temperatures Â
Qualifications
Experience:
- Previous food service experience preferredÂ
- Ability to understand oral and written instructionsÂ
- Must speak, read, and understand English
Certification:
- Must obtain Food Handler Certificate within 60 days of hire.
