Shift: Full Time; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMJoin the Robert Young Center Inpatient Behavioral Health team as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)! In this role, you will provide diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, crisis evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and care coordination for individuals with behavioral health needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered, trauma-informed care.As part of our collaborative inpatient behavioral health team, you will work alongside nurses, Behavioral Health Technicians, Mental Health Professionals, LMHPs, occupational therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, and other members of the care team.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic and psychosocial assessments.
- Develop individualized, strengths-based, trauma-informed treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to support patients and families.
- Assess and provide treatment for patients experiencing crisis or emergency situations.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on mental and behavioral health and wellness.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team and community resources to coordinate treatment and services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to RYC and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Working toward intermediate or independent licensure in Illinois and/or Iowa.
- Valid Driver’s License and CPR certification required.
- Dual IL/IA licensure and CADC certification preferred.
Experience:
- 6 months of community mental health, inpatient psychiatry, or substance abuse experience.
- Therapy experience with behavioral health and/or substance use populations preferred.
