UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a Rheumatology Physician to join our team in the Quad Cities (Iowa/Illinois).

UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being.

 

Responsibilities

  • Mon-Fri 8-4:30; 4.5 work week
  • Clinic schedule 20-22 patients per day
  • Diagnose and treat rheumatological conditions and diseases
  • Occasional Inpatient consult service
  • Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Rheumatology
  • Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Illinois
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
  • J-1 waiver sponsorship available

We Offer 

  • Initial 2-year salary guarantee of approximately $245,000 - $350,000 with the ability to exceed compensation and receive 100% of the upside on an innovative compensation program.
    • Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, internal equity, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on an individual’s qualifications.  The pay range does not include other forms of incentives which may include bonuses or differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
