Position Highlights

The Floor Finisher performs deep cleaning and refinishes floors in assigned areas, using automatic floor machines, buffers, vacuum cleaners, mops, wringers, and related equipment.  Performs all duties with various equipment following standard policies and procedures in order to maintain a pleasant and clean environment for patients/residents, visitors/families, and staff.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
     

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved.
  • Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.
