Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Manufacturing Laborers for projects located in the Rock Valley, IA area. This is a third shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $21-22/hour based on experience plus $100/day worked per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

Remove remnant material from laser-cut steel sheets
Inspect parts to ensure they are burr-free
Package and stack finished parts in the correct containers
Follow packaging instructions listed on job travelers
Accurately count finished parts and complete job documentation using a computer
Read blueprints and match paperwork to the correct parts
Lift, carry, and move steel parts weighing up to 80 lbs.
Operate a forklift and overhead crane as needed

Requirements

Pass a drug screen, and background check
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Basic computer skills for documentation
Ability to perform physically demanding work
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus
PPE Required: Steel-toe boots, Safety glasses & Ear plugs
