Maintenance Technician

SCI, an American based manufacturing company that specializes in providing high-performance furniture to the restaurant, educational, hospitality, healthcare, corporate and gambling industries is hiring a Maintenance Technician. The primary responsibilities of this position are to maintain and repair existing production equipment throughout the manufacturing facility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements of all equipment.
• Troubleshoot any issues of mechanical devises, correct issues as necessary to maintain productivity / quality standards.
• Control downtime by communicating with all departments.
• Set up and install new equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventories, conserve resources when able.
• Responsible for facility maintenance.
• Prepare maintenance reports, document and communicate actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or higher and 2 to 4 years related experience;
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
