About the Role:
Roc City Bar and Grill in Rockdale, IL is looking for a passionate Pizza Maker to join our kitchen crew! Responsibilities:
- Prepare and hand-craft pizzas according to restaurant recipes and quality standards
- Stretch, top, and bake pizzas with consistency and speed during service
- Manage pizza oven temperatures and monitor cook times for optimal results
- Maintain a clean and organized pizza station throughout each shift
- Assist with prep work including sauce preparation, ingredient portioning, and stocking toppings
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a kitchen, pizza-making, or food service role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
