Salary:  

• Qualified NP/PA hourly rate is $80/hour

• Signing Bonus of $60,000.00

Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) – Urgent Care
Location: South Alpine, Rockford, Illinois

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our team at our South Alpine clinic in Rockford, IL.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care setting where every day brings variety and challenge. You’ll work with a supportive clinical team while caring for patients of all ages, managing everything from acute injuries to occupational medicine visits.

What You’ll Do:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of urgent care conditions
• Perform occupational medicine exams, DOT physicals, and manage workers’ compensation cases
• Conduct and interpret X-rays and point-of-care testing
• Perform minor procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, and abscess drainage
• Collaborate with on-site and regional leadership to maintain excellent patient flow and outcomes

What We’re Looking For:

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with active Illinois license (or eligibility)
• Experience in orthopedics or occupational medicine preferred
• Confident proceduralist with a calm and efficient approach
• Strong communicator with a high level of empathy and professionalism
• Team player who thrives in a fast-moving clinical environment
• At least 12-18 months of experience as a Provider in Urgent Care or ER setting
