What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of foods according to menus, dietary requirements, and safety standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • Assist with food storage, inventory, and support special functions
  • Collaborate with the dining services team to ensure quality service and adapt to changing needs
  • Uphold a safe, efficient, and customer-focused kitchen environment

What You'll Need:

  • High school graduate or equivalent (required)
  • Must be 18 years or older to operate potentially hazardous equipment (required)
  • 2 years of institutional cooking experience in long-term care or assisted living (required)
  • Preferred: Experience in fine dining alongside institutional cooking
