What you will do:

·         Work with a cross functional team to provide support to production shop floor 

·         Investigate, incorporate and close out changes to manufacturing procedures

·         Respond to floor requests and provide support (Andon System response)

·         Complete updates to job instruction sheets

·         With minimal direction use customer tools to route products through shop floor from assembly to shipment

·         Assist in the documentation of standard practices

·         Experience with GD&T a plus

What you will bring:

·         Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with up to 1 year internship or co-op experience preferred.

·         Associate degree in engineering discipline with 3-5 years manufacturing experience or in lieu of a degree 6-8 years of manufacturing engineering experience

·         Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment but can also be self-directed required 

·         Due the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen

Salary: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour depending on experience

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered 100% on-site position in Rockford, ILL

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. 

Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, zero travel is required.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
