Manufacturing Quality Engineer (Onsite)

This role is about owning outcomes and building the discipline and systems behind them. You’ll step into an environment that’s still evolving, where your impact is visible, and your work directly shapes how we operate.  You’ll help shape how quality is built into a new facility: from layout and flow to systems and execution on the floor.

You’ll be on the floor and in the systems, partnering with suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering to solve problems, close gaps, and make improvements stick.

Your day to day:

• Own supplier quality + performance and drive measurable improvement
• Lead corrective actions from problem → root cause → verified fix
• Drive issue triage and ensure clear ownership and closure
• Eliminate repeat issues through nonconformance and trend analysis
• Build and reinforce quality systems, documentation, and traceability
• Partner across Manufacturing, Engineering, and Suppliers to ensure processes are defined, followed, and sustained
• Support PPAP, FAI, PFMEA, control plans, and audits
• Turn field issues + RMAs into upstream improvements
• Support and coach team members on the floor, helping build problem-solving skills and strengthen quality execution
  
  

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• 4+ years in manufacturing or supplier quality
• Strong in root cause analysis, corrective action, and process improvement
• Experience with PPAP / FAI / PFMEA / control plans
• Comfortable working both hands-on and in systems, with strong attention to detail in documentation and traceability
• High level of discipline, ownership, and consistent follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive work to closure
• Willingness to coach and support others, helping raise the overall capability of the team
• You take pride in closing loops : problems, documentation, and follow-through
