Millwright

Mercer Landmark is in search of a Full Time Millwright for our facility in Rockford, Ohio, offering very competitive wages. This individual would be part of a team doing work for all Mercer Landmark facilities. 

Millwright Job Duties:

• Perform all preventative work orders as assigned
• Complete unscheduled maintenance and projects as assigned.
• Perform basic electrical trouble shooting
• Perform basic mechanical trouble shooting
• Light to moderate fabrication as needed.
• Conduct all work activities in compliance with the company safety and environmental standards and programs.

Millwright Qualifications:

• Prior Industrial Maintenance/Millwright experience required (five years’ experience preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent required (secondary education preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of the proper techniques to maintain industrial equipment
• Proficient with critical thinking, logical problem-solving skills and root cause analysis.
• Experienced and knowledgeable with mechanical equipment trouble shooting and repair
• Strong coaching and communication skills, the ability to manage time and workloads effectively
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
