Candidates are required to have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and basic computer knowledge.
Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of experience in patient care or customer service.

Expected pay for this position is $17.00 - $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Transporter is responsible for performing patient transports and patient transfers using the appropriate equipment while adhering to safe patient handling policies and procedures. Position is also responsible for picking up and delivering specimens, patient care items, visitors between patient care units and other ancillary departments.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

American Heart Association BLS
Basic computer knowledge

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High School graduate or equivalent.
6 months patient care and/or customer service
