KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This Driver will report directly to the onsite dispatcher/terminal manager

• This position will require a qualified individual to operate the following equipment: tankwagon truck, 26ft box truck with lift gate, curtain van, tractor with 3000 - 7000g liquid bulk tanker, tractor with 53ft. van trailer

• The van trailer is used to deliver both hazmat and non-hazmat materials

• The box truck with lift gate is used to make both hazmat and non-hazmat deliveries

• PPE (Steel toe, hard hat, safety glasses) must be worn at all times when handling hazmat materials

• This is not solely a driving position as there will be warehouse duties as well, including forklift operation, pallet jack operations, inventory management, truck loading and unloading, and other additional duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Must have class B (preferably class A) with hazmat and tanker endorsements, and updated medical card to be considered. We will cross train on bigger delivery vehicles

• Individuals must have a clean driving record and be very skilled at maneuvering and operating the delivery vehicles

• 2 years of driving experience minimum, preferably 5 years

• This individual must be able to hit the ground running and be a great self-starter

• Must have great customer service skills

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job

• This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 to 75 pounds

• Same day delivery. Deliveries can encompass a 300 mile radius

• Manual transmission experience is preferred but not required for employment

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:  

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent
