JOB DESCRIPTION: SUPERVISOR

- Oversee services provided to individuals in their own homes and communities, who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability, and/or other conditions. Home care may include assistance with the activities of daily living, housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, and respite.
- Home Care Supervisors ensure that employees deliver services in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.

Reporting Relationship
- Reports to Branch Manager/Lead Supervisor
Qualifications/Education
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current driver’s license.
- Proper Vehicle Insurance Coverage
- 1-3 years of experience in home care, healthcare, or case managementÂ
- 1 - 2 years' experience in supervising
Knowledge
Successful home care supervisor should understand
- IDoA regulations and provider requirements
- Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
- Documentation standards
- HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
