The Role - What A Day In The Life Looks Like:

As an Accounting Specialist, you'll serve as a key support resource for both our accounting and operational functions. Your day may begin by reviewing fuel orders and invoices or ensuring all transactions are accurate and processed on time. Throughout the day, you'll communicate with customers regarding account inquiries, coordinate with internal teams, reconcile payment discrepancies, and maintain critical financial and operational records.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities with accounting-related tasks, thrives in an open environment, and takes pride in keeping processes organized and running smoothly.


Job Duties:

  • Process and track fuel orders, deliveries, and invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment processing
  • Assist with accounts receivable functions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation of discrepancies
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding fuel orders, billing questions, and account status via phone, email, and in person
  • Provide administrative support by scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence
  • Maintain and update internal databases, spreadsheets, filing systems, and other company records
  • Support compliance and documentation processes by ensuring records are accurate, complete, and easily accessible
  • Organize and distribute mail, order office supplies, and assist with general office operations
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to support daily business operations and customer needs

Required Qualifications - What You Bring To The Table:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years of administrative, accounting support, or office experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Understanding of basic accounting procedures and accounts payable/receivable processes
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
