You run a tight forklift and you take second shift seriously. We're looking for you.
The Fremont Company ā a family-owned food manufacturer with over 120 years in the business ā is hiring a Production Forklift Driver at our Rockford facility. This is hands-on, keep-the-line-moving work, and we need someone who shows up ready to do it right.
What you'll do:
- Operate a forklift to move raw materials, finished goods, and pallets throughout the production facility
- Stage and replenish materials to keep the production line on schedule
- Load and unload as needed
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and flag any issues
- Keep your area safe, clean, and organized
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to meet daily targets
What you bring:
- Valid forklift certification required ā no exceptions
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- A safety-first mindset and strong attention to detail
- Reliability and the ability to work independently on second shift
