Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Rockingham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to alarms and reporting concerns. Pay Rate: $15.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, including unsecured doors, damaged fencing, or unusual activity, and communicate concerns through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
