The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining efficient manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality product output while minimizing waste and cost. This role plays a critical part in continuous improvement initiatives, equipment integration, and driving operational excellence within the production environment. Â

What You'll Do Â
Â
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement Â
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency. Â
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Â
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and effectiveness. Â
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve process inefficiencies and quality issues. Â
Process Design & Development Â
- Collaborate with product design and R&D teams to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacturability. Â
- Design, configure, and optimize production processes from inception through startup and certification. Â
- Recommend design modifications to improve production efficiency and reduce ergonomic risks. Â
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools that enhance process capabilities and reduce operational costs. Â
Manufacturing Routers Review Â
- Review and update manufacturing routers to ensure accurate documentation of process steps, cycle times, and resource allocation. Â
- Identify and recommend changes to router instructions to streamline workflows and eliminate non-value-added activities. Â
- Ensure that routers reflect current best practices and compliance with operational and quality standards. Â
- Collaborate with production, quality, and planning teams to validate router accuracy and efficiency. Â
Data Analysis & Reporting Â
- Use data-driven decision-making to track, analyze, and report on process performance metrics. Â
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights into production performance and improvement opportunities. Â
- Leverage statistical tools to predict and prevent process bottlenecks. Â
Compliance & Quality Assurance Â
- Ensure that processes adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols. Â
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation to ensure compliance and repeatability. Â
- Conduct audits to identify opportunities for improvement, maintain process integrity and ensure adherence to best practices. Â
Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting Â
- Act as a technical expert in diagnosing and resolving process-related issues in production. Â
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to address technical challenges promptly. Â
- Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and implement preventive solutions. Â
Project Management Â
- Manage process improvement projects from initiation to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline tracking. Â
- Engage stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives. Â
- Monitor the impact of implemented changes and ensure sustainability of improvements through productivity tracking Â
Training & Knowledge Sharing Â
- Train production teams on new processes, tools, and best practices.  Â
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among team members. Â
- Create documentation and knowledge-sharing resources to institutionalize process improvements. Â
Sustainability & Innovation Â
- Incorporate energy-saving, waste reduction, and sustainability practices into process improvements. Â
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in process engineering. Â
- Promote creative solutions that enhance the organization's competitive advantage through people, process and technology. Â
- Occasional travel to vendors or other manufacturing locations may be required. Â

 What You'll Bring Â
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Â
- Experience with Electronic or Electromechanical assembly.Â
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering role. Â
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.Â
- Experience with CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Â
