Regional Operations Manager

 

Compensation: $190,000-$210,000

 

Location: Rocklin, CA

We’re looking for a Regional Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple branches within a defined territory. This role ensures safe, efficient, and customer-focused execution while driving continuous improvement and supporting company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support branch managers and frontline teams to drive performance, safety, and service standards
  • Conduct regular branch visits to evaluate operations, provide feedback, and reinforce company expectations
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management in partnership with HR
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, and company policies)
  • Drive operational consistency by improving processes, increasing efficiency, and reducing waste
  • Monitor KPIs, inventory, and daily operations to ensure accuracy and performance goals are met
  • Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to align operations with customer needs and resolve service issues
  • Support budget management by monitoring labor, expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure facilities, equipment, and fleet meet safety and operational standards
  • Support rollout and adoption of company initiatives, systems, and best practices
  • Provide insight on market conditions, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

  • Strong operational leadership experience with a focus on safety, service, and efficiency
  • Proven ability to manage multi-site operations and drive consistent results
  • Effective communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of financial and operational metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with operational systems and reporting tools

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • 5–10 years of operations or leadership experience
  • Multi-location experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success driving operational improvements and team development
