The Occupational Therapist will provide patient care under MD referral. Maintains required documentation and professional relationships with patients, families and staff. Adheres to MMC/department policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements. Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Administer Occupational Therapy treatments per MD referral and in accordance with NYS practice act
• Perform comprehensive evaluations
• Develop appropriate treatment plans with realistic, functional goals
• Observes patients' response to treatment physically and psychologically and adjusts the treatment plan accordingly
• Evaluation and treatment of patients in outpatient rehab and inpatient rehab
• Documentation in EMR (EPIC)

Requirements:

• BS or MS degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited OT program
• Current NYS license
• BLS Required
• Inpatient and outpatient rehab experience preferred but not required
