Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Certified Scrub Tech for our Surgical Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Certified Surgical Tech, you will:
• Assist the Surgical Team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care
• Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies
• Prepare the Operation Room with all the necessary supplies
• Properly sterilize required instruments and supplies
• Serve as surgical assistant as needed
• Assist in order and restocking Operating Room supplies and instruments

Qualifications include:
• High school or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified
• 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).

Work Schedule:

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
  • Typical Daily Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Monday through Friday 
  • Shift Type: Day 
  • Weekend Requirements: occasional call

Pay Range:

$29.08 - $42.17
