Job Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain utility systems including boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, pure steam generators, and wastewater treatment systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and corrective repairs on utility equipment.
- Monitor utility system performance and respond to equipment alarms, failures, and emergency situations.
- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems in compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements.
- Utilize CMMS (SAP preferred) to manage work orders, document maintenance activities, update equipment history, and support preventive maintenance programs.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Support facility shutdowns, startups, and utility outage activities.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Follow site procedures for Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, hot work, and permit-to-work systems.
- Assist with contractor oversight and support capital and maintenance projects.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required.
- Maintain accurate utility logs, maintenance records, and operational documentation.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
