Job DetailsJob Location: 538 - Rockwall Hilton - Rockwall, TX 75032Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: AnyPosition Summary: The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting and servicing group and local catering business, including meetings, social events, weddings, and banquets. This role includes client prospecting, detailed event planning, execution coordination, and post-event follow-up to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and revenue generation. Responsibilities: Solicit new catering business through prospecting, networking, and client referrals. Respond promptly to inquiries and provide detailed proposals and contracts in accordance with hotel standards. Plan and coordinate events from initial booking to final billing, including BEOs, room layouts, and timelines. Maintain relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business and referrals. Collaborate closely with F&B, Banquets, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events. Meet or exceed catering sales goals set by the Director of Sales/Catering. Conduct site visits and tours with prospective clients. Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings. Maintain accurate records and reporting in the sales system (e.g., Delphi, CI/TY, etc.). Represent the hotel at bridal shows, trade events, and community functions as needed. QualificationsQualifications: 2+ years of experience in catering sales or event planning, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage multiple events and clients simultaneously. Detail-oriented and customer-service focused. Knowledge of food and beverage standards and basic banquet operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales CRM software (Delphi/FDC preferred).
