This role is critical in ensuring efficient, accurate, and consistent production of metal components using CNC machinery integrated with automated systems. The ideal candidate brings hands-on manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of machining processes, robotics, and industrial automation.   Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding) in a high-volume production environment. Configure machines for production runs, including tooling, fixturing, and calibration of automated systems. Interpret blueprints, process sheets, and work instructions to ensure product specifications are met. Translate mechanical drawings into machine instructions using CAD/CAM software. Program and adjust CNC equipment using G-code to optimize cycle times and reduce waste. Load raw materials and tools; perform test runs to verify accuracy and performance. Troubleshoot CNC programs, machine issues, and automation systems (robotic arms, conveyors, PLC-controlled equipment). Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMMs). Maintain production logs, machine settings, and quality control records. Conduct routine maintenance and report malfunctions to minimize downtime. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve processes and efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.   Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in CNC machining, automation, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of CNC machining experience, including at least 1 year in an automated manufacturing environment. Proficiency in G-code programming and CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM). Familiarity with PLCs, robotic systems, and automated material handling equipment. Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.   Skills & Competencies High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
