Now Hiring – Staff Pharmacist

Hours: M-F, 8:00AM-4:30PM or 8:30AM - 5:00PM EST

Location: Onsite in our Rocky Hill, CT Pharmacy

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy – We provide specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages the workflow processes which may include pharmacist verification and labeling/packaging
• Reviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completeness
• Complies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by the Connecticut State Boards of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.
• Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive and team-oriented approach
• Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing
• Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards
• All other duties as assigned by Pharmacist-in-Charge

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must possess a CT State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License
• Experience with document management system such as Docutrack or ECM preferred, but not required
• Positive personality who is able to work well within a team
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Can de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacy

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time and deskwork
• Must be able to stand/be on feet for duration of an eight (8) hour shift
