Job Description Summary

Job Description

We currently have a great opportunity for a Senior Surveyor to join our very successful commercial Valuation & Advisory team.

The position will be based within the Dublin office. Being based in Dublin, the role will primarily cover the east coast but also stretching into the midlands. The role will involve valuations across all sectors of the market including retail, office, industrial, living and development land. We are looking for, is someone who will fit with the friendly, sociable, dedicated and hardworking team dynamic.

You will primarily be involved in loan security and fund valuations working with top tier clients including national and international banks. You will also work closely with the other V&A teams across the country as well as the local transactional agency teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join a strong team and develop their career.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Undertake existing valuation mandates and start to build contacts to attract new business

  • Work on a mix of regular mandates as well as loan security valuations

  • Prepare valuations and strategic advice to a wide variety of clients

  • Be able to take day to day responsibility for execution of instructions under minimum supervision

  • To start to develop a profile in the marketplace through building key client relationships

  • Play an active role in the development of more junior team members

  • To prepare valuation reports, in various formats

  • Inspection of assets along the east coast of Ireland

Person Specification:

  • Good property market and wider economic and business knowledge;

  • Excellent report writing skills;

  • Strong planning, organisational and communication skills;

  • Able to work under own supervision but also as part of a wider national valuation team;

  • Social skills when networking and entertaining clients.

Qualifications:

  • RICS qualification

  • Will be RICS Registered Valuer accredited
