Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Supply Chain professional to join our team in Battleboro, NC. Reporting to the NA Supply Chain Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting material availability, planning execution, and supply flow coordination across the Production Plant, Distribution Center, Customer Care, Procurement, third-party partners, and Supply Chain teams.
This position is responsible for coordinating and optimizing inbound supply, internal planning activities, third-party operations, and Distribution Center stock deployment to help ensure strong service levels, efficient logistics performance, and alignment with customer order requirements.
Responsibilities:
Support on-time delivery performance through effective materials management and coordination of inbound and outbound flows.
Assist with monthly forecasting and planning for long lead-time materials, raw materials, and finished goods to enable production execution and Distribution Center operations in alignment with North American demand.
Coordinate with the stock replenishment team to help ensure product availability in support of production schedules and customer requirements.
Manage external partner activities to help achieve company targets while supporting Prysmian values and key performance indicators.
Coordinate supply chain topics and issue resolution across Operations, Logistics, and Commercial teams.
Monitor physical and process flows to support accurate, efficient production planning and execution.
Convert SAP-recommended requisitions into purchase orders and follow up as needed to support timely material availability.
Maintain regular supplier communication, including bi-monthly supplier calls, to support alignment and proactive issue resolution.
Resolve supplier-related issues in a timely and collaborative manner.
Perform root cause analysis on key performance indicators, including service levels, stock levels, inventory adjustments, and costs, and recommend action plans when results deviate from targets.
Supporting planned physical inventory counts to help ensure inventory accuracy and process compliance.
Contribute to system or ERP changes and new development initiatives to improve supply chain processes and operational efficiency.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; equivalent work experience combined with additional technical or managerial training will also be considered.
Experience working with SAP, including standard SAP and APO modules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and improve work processes.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong understanding of supply planning, logistics, inventory management, and material flow.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency.
