Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Access in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and report security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and drivers. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, reviewing authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at access points; report unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, docks, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
