Training Coordinator wanted in Moore, South Carolina to ensure a safe work environment and sustained compliance with all EHS policies and procedures, as well as conformance with IATF 16949 quality management standards through the maintenance of process procedures and documentation and the recommendation of necessary changes. Identify training requirements in collaboration with department managers, and
develop and deliver specialized programs such as customer defect elimination initiatives, leadership training, operator training oversight, and production procedure training for new parts or product launches. Design, implement, and evaluate training programs, materials, and workshops to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements, incorporating innovative methods and technologies where appropriate. Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics, recommending continuous improvements to enhance learning outcomes. Propose systems and processes to optimize productivity, workplace efficiency, safety protocols, and labor organization in line with MAFACT and MPS methodologies. Manage the Magna360 training application, maintain accurate training records, track KPIs, and ensure timely completion of training. Plan and schedule training sessions with minimal
production disruption, coordinate with external trainers when necessary, and support employee retention initiatives. Assist in onboarding new hires, support plant programs such as 5S, IATF, MAFACT, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, and provide guidance on career development. Conduct regular audits of 5S standards, address issues, and provide coaching and feedback to employees to foster ongoing growth and development. Must use operational knowledge of automotive seating manufacturing to streamline workflows for efficiency, quality and waste reduction; use technical knowledge of automotive seating manufacturing systems, machinery and technologies to improve operations; use root cause analysis tools including 4 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, FMEA and Control Plans; and lead initiatives for new product launches relative to automotive seating products. Requires 36 months of related experience as a Training Coordinator, Production Supervisor or Team Lead. The related experience must include use operational knowledge of automotive seating manufacturing to streamline workflows for efficiency, quality and waste reduction; use technical knowledge of automotive seating manufacturing systems, machinery and technologies to improve operations; use root cause analysis tools including 4 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, FMEA and Control Plans; and lead initiatives for new product launches relative to automotive seating products. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; M-F, $91,912.00 per year.
